Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders unanimously approves the bid specifications, designs and plan in connection with the Replacement of the 14th Street Viaduct Over Conrail and Local Streets, Bridge No. 0900-016 located in Hoboken and the City of Union City.  The Board of Chosen Freeholders authorizes the award of the construction contract to J. H Reid General Contractor of 3230 Hamilton Boulevard, South Plainfield, NJ.

New Jersey Department of Transportation Bureau of Local Aid – District #2 issues concurrence of the contract award for the Replacement of the 14th Street Viaduct Over Conrail and Local Streets, Bridge No. 0900-016 to the lowest responsible bidder J. H. Reid General Contractor.

July 22, 2011

Hudson County Department of Roads and Public Property Office of the County Engineer issues notice to proceed construction to J. H Reid General Contractor. August 1, 2011 is designated the official start date with all construction activities to be completed within 900 calendar days.
